Seasony is a purpose-driven company and we seek to share and uphold our values. To maintain our high standards and to continue improving, we need to work hard and rely on one another to make progress every day.
Making good choices is not always easy, especially in today’s complex global business environment. For this reason, we have developed a code of conduct (“the code”) to make it easier for everyone.
The complaint is received and assessed to determine whether it is a sensitive complaint (often related to corruption, sexual misconduct, or other violations of Code of Conduct or whether the complaint is of a more operational nature.
No code can cover all policies or laws, so if you have questions or to report an issue or concern, there are several resources and reporting options available:

To have a good working environment it is on all of us to treat each other with respect and act in a professional, honest, and ethical manner that always aligns with the law.
Corruption and bribery in all of their forms are completely contrary to our business standards and ethics. Always work honestly and with integrity. Never offer (or accept) a bribe to anyone and remember, we’re not only responsible for our actions, but also for the actions of any third party who represents Seasony.
All team members should at any time make fair and unbiased business decisions and prioritize Seasony’s best interests. An actual or perceived conflict of interest may arise when a team member’s decisions are influenced or could appear to be influenced by personal interests, relationships, or activities that may create bias or favor for a specific business partner. Team members must avoid any activities or accepting anything that could create a perceived or potential conflict of interest.
Equity and inclusion are a matter of the heart for Seasony, and we’ve set clear goals to ensure we continue to champion an inclusive society. We respect cultural and individual differences and believe discrimination should not be tolerated. Everyone, regardless of race, color, sex, pregnancy status, gender identity, marital status, political opinions, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, social origin, or national origin has to have equal access to opportunities, and everyone should feel welcome, valued and respected.
We respect employees’ and other workers’ rights to join or refrain from joining any lawful workers’ association or collective bargaining association of their choice.
All of us should take a clear stand against offensive messages, comments, and inappropriate jokes. Such actions are inconsistent with our culture and undermine the team environment we’ve all worked so hard to create. Understand that inappropriate comments of a sexual nature or any other sexually offensive behavior will not be tolerated (see the policy for sexual harassment). Never tolerate intimidation, harassment, or bullying of any kind. Furthermore, treat third parties with whom we interact on behalf of Seasony with the same level of respect we offer our employees.
We all play a role in protecting Seasonys’ reputation, so our customers continue to have faith, not only in the quality of our products but also in their safety. We must work to ensure that we are living up to product safety and quality standards and that the products we sell meet all government requirements.
Our suppliers and business partners make significant contributions to our success. To create an environment where they have an incentive to continue to work with us, they must align with the “Code of Conduct for Business Partners”. This will help them be confident that they will be treated lawfully and ethically.
The unauthorized release of confidential information can cause us to lose our competitive advantage, embarrass Seasony, and damage our relationships with our customers and business partners. For these reasons, confidential information must be treated carefully. This means it must be accessed, stored, and transmitted in a manner consistent with our policies.
We respect the privacy of employees, as well as customers, consumers, and others with whom we conduct business. Always handle their personal information with care, especially sensitive personal information.
We are committed to respecting the human rights and dignity of everyone, and we support international efforts to promote and protect human rights, like the UN Global Compact Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP, 2011) and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. We will not tolerate abuse of human rights in our operations or our supply chain.
We are committed to resource conservation, minimizing damage to the environment, as well as any potential harm to the health and safety of employees, customers, and the public. We recognize the need to conduct business in a way that protects and improves the state of the environment for our future generations. Thus, we strongly support and target to align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG, 2015) and the EU Circular Economy Action Plan (EU, 2015).
There will always be things to be improved, so Seasony strives to enhance continuously when it comes to adverse effects on both the people around us (including employees, customers, users, and the public) and the environment.
It is the responsibility of the executive management to maintain the code of conduct, as well as ensure that the company complies with it. All employees at Seasony should react if they believe that any person from either Seasony or partners externally behave in a way that goes against the code of conduct. The employee should report the incident to management.
Management will ensure that it is provided with descriptions of the situation and will process the complaint while ensuring that all parties involved are treated objectively and fairly.
In the case of violations, depending on how the matter is elucidated and any supporting documentation provided, management will choose whether to respond with employment law sanctions (in the case of internal breach) or commercial sanctions (in the case of external breach).
As a matter of course, management will display the necessary discretion and protection of the dignity and privacy of all parties involved.
